Kalakand Sweet || How to make Kalakand at home || Festival sweet || Diwali special

Kalakand is one of the popular Indian sweets. It is rich milk cake . To make the kalakand it may take a bit time. Milk is curdled a bit the use of alum or curd and simmered. This kalakand  is a jhatpat(quick) recipe . The taste and texture you won't come to know that the kalakand is made from condensed milk. The kalakand sweet give a moist and granular textured .

Well Diwali is coming we will look for sweet to have it and serve to guess and give to monk or anyone , we basically want the sweet should be a bit nice and it should be tasty when they have it. So , you can prepare this Kalakand sweet which required less Ingredients and can make it at Home same like sweet shop..... we only need to make a perfect Chenna by using the full fated milk so that Kalakand can be make soft and nice.

This sweet not only prepare during the Diwali time , you can even prepare this Kalakand sweet in an special occasion like in Dussehra or in Engagement or in small special occasion. The Indian people think starting any new thing they should start with some nice sweet, it may be any kind of sweet.


When we talk about the Kalakand sweet , it basic Ingredients is milk with help of milk only we make the CHENNA and after preparing the Kalakand , you can add dry fruits as well flavoring of your choice. So, that it took too delicious and when we eat it give the complete and yummy taste of Kalakand and I added Ghee, so that the smell very good and it should carving of having the Kalakand sweet.

Now let's see How to make KALAKAND Sweet step by step:

Step 1: Firstly let make CHENNA

Step 2: For that, take 500ml milk (full cream) bring it to a 1 boiled ( in high flame)

Step 3: After that reduces the flame and add 1 lemon juice.

Do boiled for few min then turn off the stove.

Step 4: Then strain it. Do pore the fresh water on top to remove the lemon flavour.

The chenna is ready to make Kalakand.

Step 5: Take a pan add 1 little milk , bring it to a boil .( keep stirring to it so,that it don't stick to bottom) 

See that koya came in the form of creamy.

Step 6: Then add chenna to it mix both well, then add 1/2 cup of ghee mix well for 5 min ( medium flame).

Step 7: Then add 1/2 cup of sugar( 250ml cup) mix well .

Step 8: Then add few saffron , add 1/2 tbsp cardamom powder mix for 5 min till it looks light brown in color.

The Kalakand mixture is done.



Step 9: Take a tin Grass it will little ghee to all side's, then transfer Kalakand mixture to 

Gently settle the mixture to a tin , then spread 1/4 tbsp ghee and spread over on top of all side's.

Step 10: Then add some mixture of nuts on top and gently press it to set inside.

(Pistachios , Almond and Melon seeds ) 

Step 11: let is rest for 1 to 2 hours 

Then remove from tin the Kalakand and cut them into pieces.

The delicious Kalakand sweet is ready !!
