Let see how to make Paneer tikka step by step
Ingredients required:
- curd
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1/2 coriander powder
- 1/2 tbsp cumin powder
- 2 tbsp garam masala
- 1/8 tbsp carom seeds
- oil
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- salt
- 1/2 copped diced onion
- capsicum
- 250 paneer
Step 1: Take a bowl add 1/2 cup thick curd, add 1/2 tbsp turmeric, add 1 tbsp red chili powder, add 1/2 tbsp coriander powder, add 1/2 tbsp cumin powder, add 1/2 tbsp garam masala, add 1/8 tbsp carom seeds, add 1 tbsp oil, add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, add salt as per taste, add half a lemon juice mix well till all spices are combined well with curd.
Step 2: After that add 1 1/2 tbsp gram flour mixed well, then add 1/2 copped diced onion, add 1/2 chopped cubed shaped capsicum( yellow, red, and green ).
Step 3: Then take 250 gm paneer/cottage cheese cut in cube shape then add on it, then mix gently to coat the masala with veggies well. Let it marinate for 30 min.
Step 4: After that arrange the paneer and vegetables on a wooden skewer, per skewer 2 Paneer even alternated with 2-3 pieces of vegetables.
Repeat the process the same.
Step 5: Then take a Tawa heat it then places paneer on it, on top and side of that add oil 1 tbsp. Roast on medium flame, do rotate often to cook evenly ( roast well all sides)
After roasting the paneer tikka will be ready but at the time of serving sprinkle some chaat masala
