Mango pastry recipe - step by step
Mango is one of the fav fruit of all people whether it's kids or adults and mangoes are most popular around the world. In mango, they are different and type of mango and different variety also. They vary between shape, colour, size and even tastes.
Well, With help of mango, we can make a different kind of recipe. Like Aamras, aam ki chutney, mango shake, mango cake etc.
In the last post, I have shared raw mango chutney which is amazing in taste. And today I am going to share homemade Mango pastry.
Many people think that making pastry or cake at home is difficult, but to be frank it's not just you need to follow some tip and tricks at the time of making this recipe.
I also shared the chocolate cake recipes which is also very simple and easy to prepare at home. As we are facing the pandemic we all need to stay at home safe but we want to celebrate our family members special days at home itself. At least we all cut the cake and celebrated it as we can't go out.
So, you can break the cake at home and enjoy yourself with family members. I break this cake during my sisters birthday as she loves mangoes very much.

About recipe:
Mango pastry is one of the favs pastry among the kids. Baking this recipe is quite simple and easy. All things you can prepare at home easily.
At the time of making I have used almost less sugar because in the cold whipping cream already sugar excited in it. And at the time of baking the cake, I used vinegar if vinegar is not available you can use lemon juice also.
For making sugar syrup used 2 tbsp sugar and add water keep mixing till it dissolves. Like that sugar syrup is ready.
If you don't cut the slides into 6 pieces then it will become a cake and that cake can prepare for any occasion.
Tips and tricks :
- You need to prepare the moulded first
- At the time of cooling the cake see that you cover it with clothes
- At the time of making puree keep stirring it
- After adding vinegar mix it and immediately poured it into the moulded
- Used toothpick to check whether the cook is a break or not
- Cut the cake gently from the middle and make a two-layer
- At the time of making the slide keep whipping the knife, and cut it.
- Mango
- Cake moulded
- 3 to 4 cup salt
- Butter paper
- Oil
- All purposes flour
- 5 to 7 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon water
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup sweetened consisted milk
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- Sugar syrup
- 1/ 2 cup of cold whipping cream
- Water
- Tutti fruity
Step 1: First let's make a cake moulded
For that
Step 2: Take a 7-inch square cake tin place a base with butter paper and used some oil for grazing all its sides.
Step 3: Then dust it with maida and the mould is ready to keep it aside.
Step 4: Now take 3/4 cup + 2 cups of chopped mango and blended it into a smooth pura.
Step 5: Take a pan heat it and add that pura to it, add 2 tbsp sugar, add 1 tbsp lemon juice and give a nice mix.
( keep the flame low at the time of mixing and cook the mixture for 5 to 6 min, then take a mixture out in a bowl)
Let's make a Kadai for baking
Step 6: For that used take a Kadai to add 3 to 4 cups of cooking salt, used some kind of stand in the middle.
(Preheat it in mind flam for fifteen min)
Step 7: Now take the mango plum add 1/3 cup of cooking oil, add 1/2 cup milk give a good mix and also add 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk mix it well.
Step 8: Then strain 1 cup of all-purpose flour, also 1 tbsp baking soda and 1 tbsp baking powder and mix the entire mixture well when everything is combined.
(Used hand whisk for mixing it and when the batter is ready to use 1 tbsp white vinegar)
Step 9. Now add that better in a cake mould add dap to remove the air bubble.
Step 10: And place the mould into a preheated Kadai.
( Bake for in medium flame for 1st 10 min then again bake it for 10 to 15 min in low flames)
Step 11: After that take it out and let it cool for a few sec, then run a knife at the edges of the mould and flip the mould to take the cake out.
(Then let the cake to be cool out comply and make sure you cover it with a cloth)
Step 12: Now take a 1/2 cup of cold whipping cream and whisked it.
(Keep it in the refrigerator until you it)
Step 13: Now cut the cake from the middle and make two layers and add sugar syrup to the base layer also apply cream and spread it.
Step 14: Now place the 2nd layer of the cake and repeat the process. And also cut the 4 sides of the cake gently and refrigerated the cake.
Step 15: Take a 1/2 cup chopped mango and make a soft pure.
Step 16: Add the puree to the pan and also add 1/4 cup sugar, add 1/2 cup water and cook for 5 min on low flame and keep mixing it.
( see that they should not be any kind of lumps)
Step 17: Now strain it glaze and bring it to room temperature then spread it to a pastry.
Step 18: After that cut them into 6 slices and top them with top cream and put some cherries or tutti-fruity.
At last Mango, pastry is ready to serve it!!
