Mushrooms Biryani recipe - Step by step

The Mushrooms dish are a favourite for all age groups, whether it's adults or kids. Many vegetation people think that mushroom is non-veg but both veg and non-veg people can have it and the reason why people love mushrooms dish because the smooth and sponges will give a nice taste.

So, there are many varieties of mushrooms dish like mushroom biryani, mushroom curry, mushroom shoop etc. 

Now I am sharing the mushrooms biryani recipe, just need to follow few steps to prepare the dish. You can prepare mushroom  biryani during lunch hour or at dinner or if you invite any guests or relatives.

I usually make mushroom biryani during lunch hour on Sunday or any other special occasions like Birthday Party or Anniversary of my parents etc.

About recipe:

For making Mushroom biryani it requires some basic ingredient and I prepared this recipe in a pressure cooker because the rice won't be sticky. 

The first thing before making biryani is to need to soak basmati rice 30 min before cooking.

And if you are using 1 cup of rice then need to used water one and the half cup (1 1/2 ) a half cup extra water needs to used to compare to soak rice.

The Mushrooms Biryani is served with Raita!!

Mushroom Biryani

Ingredients required: 

  • 1/2 tbsp fennel seeds
  • 1 green chilli
  • Few mint leaves
  • Few coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp Ginger and garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1-star anise
  • 2 cardamom
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 finely chopped onion
  • 1 finely chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder,
  • 1 pin turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 250 gm mushroom
  • 1 cup rice
  • Salt as per taste
How to make a Mushrooms Biryani Step by step

Step 1: Firstly, grind the spices

For that take a mixture jar

Step 2: Then add 1/2 tbsp fennel seeds, 1 green chilli, few mint leaves, few coriander leaves, add 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste then grind and make the paste.

Step 3: Now take a press cooker to add 3tbsp oil, add 1 bay leaf, add 1-star anise, add 2 cardamon, add 3 cloves, add 1 cinnamon stick, add 2 finely chopped onion saute well.

Step 4: After that add grinded paste and saute well.

Step 5: Then add 1 finely chopped tomatoes, add salt as per taste mix it and add 1 tbsp red chilli powder, add 1 tbsp coriander powder, add 1/2 tbsp gram masala, add 1 pinch turmeric mix and saute well.

Step 6: Then add curd 2 tbsp mixed well and then add 250 gm mushrooms, add salt as per taste saute well 

Step 7:  Now add 1 cup soak basmati rice mix all gently 

Then add 1 1/2 cup of water and bring it to one boil then add few mint leaves and cover and cook for 1 whistle ( in low flame).

Then, At last, mushroom biryani is ready to serve it!!
