Chola Poori is a dish originating from northern Indian, known as Halaw puri in Pakistan, It is a combination of chana masala and puri and this is also a famous dish in Punjab and now it's become famous in all around the countries. Most people eat Chola poori for breakfast. It is a heavy breakfast during the morning but having Chola poori they is no pacific time it can even have in a snack or in lunch.

Well let me share some tips for making this Chola poori, when I make a first-time Chola bhature it was quite good enough but the self-satisfaction was not there while making the first time, then I have tried again then the dish was completely delicious and so tasty. If we don't get the dish at the first time try it again and again at that time you will get the perfect taste of that dish. The spices play an important role in each and every dish.

Ingredients required:
- Soak khabuli chana 2 cup
- water
- salt
- 1/4 tbsp turmeric
- 1/2 inch cinnamon
- 4 cloves
- 4 cardamon
- 8 clove garlic
- 4 tomatoes
- 3 to 4 green chili
- 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic
- oil
- cumin seeds
- red chili powder
- Chola masala
- White flour
Now lets us look into the recipe of Chola Poori step by step
Step 1: Take a bowl Soak Khabuli chana 2 cup shock for an overnight in a deep vessel
Step 2: Then in the morning remove water from soaked chole( wash 2 - 3 times)
Step 3: Pour all washed chole in a pressure cooker add 4 cups of water also, add 1/2 tbsp salt, add 1/4 tbsp turmeric, add bay leaf 2, cinnamon 1/2 inch, cloves 4, black pepper 4, cardamon 4. Then take 2 whistles on high flame then cook on low flame for 20 min. ( it will boil)
Step 4: Grind onion 2 medium and 8 cloves of garlic.
Then take 4 tomatoes cut into big pieces, add 3 to 4 green chili, add 1/2 ginger grind and make a paste
Step 5: Take an additional 2 tbsp oil and heat it, add cumin seed 1 tbsp, add 1 pinch hing then add onion garlic past ( cook till light brown ), add 3/4 tbsp red chili powder, add 1 tbsp coriander powder, add 1/4 tbsp turmeric, add 1 tbsp cumin seeds powder, add 3 tbsp chole masala mixed well
Step 6: Then add that tomato paste to it and mixed it ( cover and cook till oil start leaving approx.15-20 min on low flame )
Step 7: Then after that add boiled chole(with water) on it and cover & cook for 20 min on low flame, then finally add garam masala 1/4 tbsp and some chopped coriander leaves on top.
The Chola will be ready !!

For making Poori
Step 8: Take a bowl add wheat flour 1 cup, add salt as per taste, add carom seeds 1tbsp, add oil 1 tbsp, add turmeric 1 tbsp, add water as required for kneading, make a soft and smooth dough ( rest for 15 min )
Step 9:After 15 min add 1 tbsp oil and knead again
Step 10: Divide the dough into small parts then roll between palms then roll gently into a puri shape
Step 11: Then take a pan add oil and fry those puris
The Puri is ready!!
