Gulab Jamun recipe - Step by step
Gulab jamun is one of the sweet dishes which is popular in Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, and the Maldives as well as all over India. In West Bengal that is Kolkata over there, this Sweet is also popular as misti doi.
The Gulab Jamun is prepaid on any occasion or doing festival time. In Indian culture, the Gulab jamun is mostly prepaid during special occasions like festivals, Birthdays etc.
Well, I like to share the easy recipe and can be prepared easily at home itself only. In this pandemic, many people have to stay at home and need to eat healthy food only and many festivals are on the way and without sweet the festival are incomplete.
So, I am sharing the Gulab Jamun recipe which can easily be prepaid at home and I am sure kids will also like this Gulab Jamun.

As Gulab Jammu is loved by all age groups and festivals are also on the way so, you can prepare this sweet dish at home itself and you need to follow some tip for making this sweet.
- Make a soft dough
- Fry the balls in low flame only
- Used a wooden spoon and do round and round to oil don't directly touch the ball. If you do so the balls may break it.
- The sugar syrup should be lukewarm

- 250 gm Mawa ( khoya)
- 2 cup sugar
- 3 cup water
- 1/4 tbsp cardamom powder
- 3 to 4 tbsp purpose flour ( Maida)
- 2 tbsp semolina
- 1/4 tbsp baking soda
- Oil/ghee to fry
Now, let's see How to make the Gulab Jamun recipe steps by step:
Step 1: First, let's make sugar syrup
Step 2: For that, take a bowl to add 2 cups of sugar, add 3 cups of water mix well and cook in high flame.
(Stir in between so that sugar should be dissolved completely and cook for 7 to 8 min till it looks sticky)
Step 3: After that add 1/4 tbsp cardamom powder mix well
The sugar syrup is ready
Step 4: Now take 250 gm Mawa ( khoya) mash it and add 3 tbsp purpose flour follow by add 2 tbsp semolina mix all well and knead soft dough.
Step 5: Then add 1/2 tbsp baking powder mix it well.
The dough is ready.
Step 6: Now take the dough and start making small round balls of all dough.
Step 7: Then take a pan to add 3 to 4 tbsp oil and fry the balls.
( Deep fry all the balls in low flam only)
Step 8: After it fries balls immediately add it to sugar syrup.
Same like that repeat the process.
At last yummy 😋 Gulab jamun is ready to serve it!!
