 Soya Chaap recipe - Step by step

Soya Chaap is made with maida, which help of the soya Chaap we can make a variety of dishes. This is mostly used by vegetarian people and it's good for health as well. The raw soya is cheap you can store it in the refrigerator for a week.

You can even make chaap at home by using soya and maida but when you hurry in cooking then it's better to used chaap which we get in grocery stores. 

As soya is good for health. It has a lot of protein and fiber in it. And we can use soya in our daily nutrition as well. It doesn't harm our bodies if we consume regularly. 

The few benefits of soya are:

  • Low risk of heart disease
  • It serves as an alternative to meal
  • High rich in protein and fiber

The soybean also knows as a Meal maker in English. But today I am going to share the recipe of soya cheap recipe. This is amazing in taste.

About recipe :

Soya cheap curry is stunning when it comes to taste. And guess what you can make the same restaurant-style or bhaba style soya chaap at home by using ingredients that are available in your kitchen.

I made this dish when guests arrive at home. In this dish, the spices play a meaningful role and the most important things are you can adjust the consistency according to your convenience. 

If you feel the consistency of soya chaap gravy is thin then add warm water and stir it and serve with hot puri or roti.

Soya chaap recipe

Ingredients required:

  • Soya chaap 300 gram
  • Oil
  • red chilli powder
  • 2 -3 cardamom
  • 1 bay leaves
  • 1 cinnamon
  •  2-3 cloves
  • 1 cumin
  • Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
  • 1 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
  •  Kasuri mati
  • Kashmir red chilled powder
  • 1 tbsp gram masala 
  • Salt 

Method of making soya chaap gravy recipe at home:

Step 1:  Take a soya chaap and remove the stick 

Step 2: Now make half of this chaap into three-part and take approximate 300 gram 

Step 3: Take a pan add 2 tbsp of oil & fry the soya cheap,  also add salt and 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder 

( Fry till color turns into golden brown)

After frying take out in a separate bowl

For Masala

Step 4: Take a pan add 2 to 3 tbsp oil heat it to that add 1 cinnamon & bay leaf, add 2 to 3 green cardamon, add 2-3 cloves, add 1 tbsp cumin seeds stir it for few seconds

Step 5: Then add 1 diced shape chopped onion stir-frying until light brown. after that add 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste and cook for another few seconds.

Step 6: Then add 2 medium size tomato purees mix them well, that all species like 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chili powder, 1 1/2 tbsp coriander powder, 1/2 tbsp turmeric, and mix well.

( cover and cook for 2-3 min on low flame)

Step 7: Then add water mix it and cover again for another 2 to 3 min until oil separates.

( When oil get separated add 2 - 3 tbsp cooking cream & mix well)

Step 8: Also add 1 tbsp Kasuri methi, 1 tbsp garam masala, 2-3 slit green chilies, add fried soya chaap mixed well.

( Add salt according to taste and cook for another 2 to 3 min)

Step 9: Then add chopped coriander leaves add a little bit of warm water and cook for another 1 min

In the end, the Soya chaap is ready to serve it!!
