 Boondi Khadi recipe 

Boondi Khadi is North Indian dish that is famous all over India. Boondi is deep fry Indian snacks with the help of those boondi curries is prepaid, Being as Indian the curry can't be prepaid without adding species. 

Well, boondi ki kadhi is loved by everyone it also keeps our health better, it's a non-spicy curry dish. With the help of boondi we can make many varieties of dishes like boondi chaat, boondi curry, boondi raita, etc. Today I am going to share Boondi Khadi Recipe.

About the recipe:

This curry is made with Boondi. Boondi is easily available in the market they are mostly 2 types boondi first is spiced boondi or Khara boond. I am using spiced boondi so that it makes delicious in curry. At the time of making Boondi Kadhi, you need to make first the batter.

Over here the batter or ghole is made with basan by adding little by little water and at the end, I added buttermilk you can use curd also. Curd or buttermilk keeps our body at the time of cooking keep stir because lamps should not be formed and I have also added jaggery you can use sugar also if you want a little bit of sweetness in kadi otherwise it's optional.

You can even adjust the curry thickness according to your preference. At the time of preparing if you think the kadhi consistency is thick then add a little bit of hot water and adjust it and served kadhi with hot steam rice. It goes perfect with that and also tastes delicious. 

The only Boondi tastes amazing by itself. It can also be served as evening snacks with hot masala tea.

Ingredients required:

  • 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 4-5 cloves
  • 1/4 tbsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 green chili chopped
  • 10-12 garlic chopped
  • few curry leaves
  • 1 cup boondi
  • Gram flour
  • Jaggery or sugar
  • few coriander leaves
  • Salt as per taste
  • Buttermilk

Method of making Boondi kadhi recipe :

Step 1: Take a bowl to add 4 tbsp gram flour

Step 2: To that add 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder, add 1/2 tbsp cumin powder, add 1 tbsp coriander powder, add 1/4 tbsp red chili powder, add salt as per taste mix well

( While mixing add little by little water so that they should not be lumps)

Step 3: Also add 1/2 litter buttermilk mixed well 

( batter is ready)

Step 4: Take a pan add 2 tbsp oil also add 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds, add 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds, add 4-5 cloves, add a few curry leaves stir it 

Step 5: Then add garlic cook for a few seconds and add batter stir it continuously till 1 boil 

Step 6: Now add 1 cup Bondi and cook for 10 to 15 min

( stir its middle so that lumps should not be formed)

Step 7: Add 1 tbsp jaggery mixed it 

( cook for another 2 min and off the flame)

Step 8: Now add few green chopped coriander leaves mix them well

The Boondi kadhi is ready to serve it!!
