 Motichur laddu recipe - Step by Step

Motichur laddu is the most common sweet which is used on every occasion. The occasion is like Sankranti, Diwali, Durga puja etc. The laddoo is loved by everyone so many people prepared mother laddu only.

 They are many varieties ladoo recipe like besan ke laddu, Rava laddu, till laddu etc. Different people prefer different laddu recipes. Well in many festivals motichur laddu is more preferable only. The upcoming festival is Krishna Janmashtami in that occasion you can pepper this ladoo at home same like halwai style.

About recipe:

Motichur laddu will be round and tiny balls of besan are prepaid first, then it fired on ghee or oil and make a sugar syrup and add that fired ball and cook till the water get evaporated.

 The Motichur laddu is originally from the Northern region of the country but it's popular across the country and the world. It's very easily accessible prepaid at home same as the market. Just need to follow few steps and need to keep few points in mind at the time of making it!!

Well at the time of preparing the sugar syrup you need to take the same quantity as a few you are taking 500gm besan need to take 500 gm sugar only. I have used oil for frying you can use ghee even. The oil I used is gold drop oil. If you want to use another oil you can use but don't use mustard oil. And for the better colour, I used Kesar food colour so that it should look yummy 😋.

Point to be noted:

  • The consistency of the batter should not be thick or thin
  • Need to be mixed well so that no lumps should be formed 
  • The sugar syrup water should be evaporated
Ingredients required:

  • 500 gm besan
  • Kesar food colour
  • Water
  • Oil/ ghee
  • 500 gm sugar

Now let's see How to cook Motichur laddu step by step:

Step 1: Firstly, take a bowl on that keep strainer and strain 500 gm besan flour.

Step 2: Then add 1 pin Kesar food colour

Step 3: add water and keep mixing it

(The consistency should not be thick nor it should be thin)

Step 4: Now take a pan to add oil heat it, then keep the strainer add better and strain immediately.

(Do the same process for remaining batter)

Step 5: Now take a pan add 500 gm of sugar, add water mix well also add 2 tbsp keser food colour mix and let it boil

Step 6: At the time of boiling add 1 tbsp cardamon powder, add 1 pin of edible camphor let it boiled in low flame.

Step 7: Also add fried Bondi to it and mix it.

(Cook till the water gets evaporate and at the time of boiling keep mixing so that the lumps won't form on it)

After it cooks, placed it in a bowl and cover with it tissue paper and let cool.

Step 8: Then take a small quantity and make a round ball shape by using hands and keep on top one cashews.

Do the same process for the remaining one

In the end, motichur laddu is ready to serve it!!
