Chicken pulao recipe - step by step
Chicken pulao is one of the quick recipes. The pulao is of many variables like vegetable pulao, paneer pulao, chicken pulao etc. The pulao is even more famous.
When we talk of vegetable pulao which is most prepaid by vegetarian people that they add all type of veggies and some common spices and rice even in the way vegetable pulao is ready.
The vegetable pulao is prepared and can even pack in the lunch box of kids and also carry to the office as well.
The main enjoyment of pulao is when rice is used by Basmati. The basmati rice is used it gives a complete taste of the dish and it also smells really good.
In the way, I have used basmati rice for cooking chicken pulao. It's an alternative to chicken biryani. As Briyani is loved by all non-vegetarian people. The non-vegetarian person prepared in any of their special occasion the biryani and it's served with Rita.
Well, when you are carving at home and you want to eat some things like biryani. At that time you can make chicken pulao. For making this is not required too many ingredients like normal chicken biryani.
Even I prepare chicken pulao when I have invited my friend, relative or any of the other guests at home. It takes a bit less time in preparation and I served them with Rita and the salon.
What is the difference between chicken pulao and chicken biriyani?
The chicken pulao is an alternative to chicken Biriyani. The main difference is in biriyani it contains gravy part and in pulao at the time of preparing they won't be any gravy consistency. In biriyani, it takes more time to cook where in pulao it takes a bit less time. The pulao won't is that much spicy as biriyani.
About recipe:
Chicken pulao is one of the alternatives dishes to chicken biryani. At the time of making this chicken pulao, you need to use Basmati rice, if basmati rice is not there then you can use normal rice also.
Soak rice 2 hours before cooking. In this first, I have a cooked chicken. I have used medium-sized pieces of chicken, At the end when chicken is cooked and when straining the chicken don't throw that strain of water. It's going to use it.
Chicken strain water is known as ( yakni). If you are using 2 cups of rice add 3 and a half cup of yakni, if yakni is less then you can even use water, And at the preparing chicken pulao, you can use the quantity according to you even.

Ingredients required:
- Water
- 1 kg chicken
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger
- Salt
- 1 tbsp garlic and ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 cup yoghurt
- 1 bay leaves
- 2 small size, cinnamon stick
- 4 to 5 small cardamon
- 1 tbsp fennel
- 1 tbsp coriander
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp black paper
- Green chilli
- Coriander leaves
- 1 big size chopped onion
- 2 cup sock rice
Now let's see How to make a chicken pulao recipe step by step:
Step 1: Take a pan to add 5 cups of water, then add chicken, add 1 small size chopped onion, add 1 tbsp ginger paste, 1 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp garlic paste
Step 2: Also add 1 bay leaf, add 2 big cadmium, add 7 to 8 cloves, add 2 cinnamon stick small, add 4 to 5 small cardamon, add 1 tbsp fennel, add 1 tbsp coriander, 1 tbsp cumin seeds mix it all.
( Now bring it to boil then cover with a lid and cook for 15 to 20 min also add black pepper)
Step 3: Now strain the water and keep the pieces of chicken on a plate separately.
For rice masala
Step 4: Take a pan add 1/2 tbsp oil heat it, then add 1 chopped onion and fry till the colour turns into golden brown colour.
( After it fry take out half fried onion on a plate)
Step 5: To that add 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste stir it, then add 1 tbsp cumin powder, 1 tbsp garam masala powder, 1 tbsp black paper powder, add salt as per taste mix it well.
Step 6: Then add boiled chicken and mix it for 2 to 3 min well.
Step 7: also add 1 cup yoghurt, add 3 to 5 green chilli and stir it well.
Step 8: Then add yakni 3 cups
( strain water of chicken)
Step 9: Bring it to boil then add soaked rice mix it
(Cook in high flame for 4 to 5 min, then cook in medium flames )
Step 10: Cook till it's looking dry and at the end sprinkle some coriander leaves sprinkle fried onion on top.
At last chicken, pulao is ready to serve!!
