Vegetable nuggets recipe - step by step
Vegetable nuggets is a crispy snack dish that is made by adding veggies. These are also known as vegetable cutlets or vegetable patties.
This mostly what we will get in a Chinese restaurant and it is mostly loved by kids. You can make restaurant-style vegetable nuggets at home by following only simple steps and also I will give some tips and suggestions which will help you to make the dish easily.
I mostly made this dish when there is a guest at home or a kitty party. And I served with tomato sauce or with masala tea.
While making the recipe I have used some common vegetable if you want you can add your favourite veggie also. They are some kids who don't like to have veggies so, you can make these nuggets and serve them.
About the recipe:
The vegetable nuggets are quite simple in making at home. In this recipe, the potatoes are the main ingredients, without potato, the nuggets can't be prepared.
I have used common veggies, you can use your fav veggies also. Even at the time of making you can also use paneer as well as cheese at the time of backing.
The veggies I used it capsicum, carrot and oregano. Also, I used some common spices which are mostly available at home, if not there you will get near a grocery store.
For cooking, I used scaffold gold drop oil which is good for our health and helps us for good digestion of food. The masala I used is Sahi Everest Masala. That masala has good flavour and also good tastes.

Some tips and suggestions are :
- I used mash boiled potato
- The nuggets have to coated with flour water, then into the bread crumbs then you need to fry it.
- Don't forget to coated it
- The oil needs to be hot don't fry at room temperature
- You can use greeted paneer and cheese
- Before frying test the oil by adding some drop of a nugget.
- 2 boiled potato
- 2 tbsp green peas
- 2 tbsp chopped capsicum
- 1/4 cup chopped carrot
- 1 tbsp chilli flack
- 1/2 tbsp oregano
- 1/4 tbsp black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- Salt
- 1 tbsp chat masala
- Bread crumbs
- Oil ( scaffold gold drop oil)
- 2 tbsp flour
- Water
Step 1: Take 2 medium size mash boiled potato
Step 2: To that add 2 tbsp green peas, add 2 tbsp chopped capsicum, add 1/4 cup carrot, add 1 tbsp, chilli flack, add 1/2 tbsp oregano, add 1/4 tbsp black pepper, add 1/2 tbsp garlic powder, add 1/2 tbsp salt.
Step 3: also add 1 tbsp chaat masala, 1/2 cups bread crumbs mix it well.
Step 4: Now grass the hand with oil, take a small pic of the batter and make a small flat ball of the batter.
(Make small flat ball for batter)
Step 5: Take a bowl add 2 tbsp flour, add 1/4 cup water mix it well. ( slurry)
Step 6: Take a pan to add 2 tbsp scaffold gold oil, heat it
Step 7: then dip the ball into the slurry, then again dip into bread crumbs, then add to the pan for frying.
( fry in medium flame till it looks Crispy and colour turn into golden brown)
Do the same process for the remaining balls.
At last vegetable, nuggets are ready to serve it!!
