Curd Rice | South Indian curd Rice

 Curd Rice is popular and tasty South Indian dish which is serve by south Indian thali as meal. The curd rice is nothing but  curd mixed with cooked rice and some spices are add . The curd rice is also known as badala bath, thayir sadam in some south Indian languages. The curd is also good for health which keep our body cool from inside and it have good source of protein even rice is also good source of magnesium and potassium, which help us to reduce stomach cramp and pain. 

Well the question arises can we eat curd rice daily?Yes, we can eat , if we are eating during the day time they should not be sugar add to it, if we are eating at night add some sugar or black pepper so that it will assist in digestion and claim your digestive system. As per me i suggest don't have at night because rice which may increase your wait during the night time we won't do any work because we will be so tired.



Basically the curd rice is like by all ages group and it is also serve during any occasion. For making the curd rice is very simple and easy anyone can make this recipe.

Now let me share the recipe how to make curd rice step by step:

Step 1: Take a 2 cup cooked rice, add 1 cup curd ( if u think it is less then add more curd ) mixed it.

Step 2:Then add room temperature milk,add salt mixed it ( Keep a side )

Step 3:Take a pan add 2 tbsp oil,add 1/2 tbsp mustered seeds,add 1 tbsp chana dal,add 1 tbsp urad dal,1 to 3 dry red chili,add few curry leaves mixed all and cook for 2 to 3 min.

Step 4:Then add all those in curd rice and mixed it gently.

Step 5: Then add coriander lease copped add it then again mixed it.

At last the curd rice is ready and while serving top of that add few pomegranate on it.

The delicious curd rice is ready!!
